"Judicial cooperation in civil and commercial matters (Art. 66-69)

The most important rules are the following:

Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 on the law applicable to contractual obligations (Rome I) will apply in the UK for contracts concluded before the end of the transition period (Art. 66).

Regulation (EC) No 864/2007 on the law applicable to non-contractual obligations (Rome II) will apply in the UK for events giving rise to damage, if such events occurred before the end of the transition period (Art. 66).

For legal proceedings instituted in the UK before the end of the transition period, several Union law provisions on jurisdiction will apply (Art. 67.1). ..."
